Inspired by the success of our recent Advent Study, the Eastside Family of Parishes is excited to invite our young adults to take part in a very special Lenten Study! We will be using Ascension's Lenten Companion, formatted in the same way as our Advent devotional, Rejoice. Join us in journeying together with Fr. Mark Toups as we unearth distractions, attachments, and other barriers in our lives that prevent us from intimacy with and commitment to our Lord on a regular basis. To promote consistency and spiritual growth, these daily reflections include a word, a guided reflection, scripture passages for meditation, and an invitation to prayer.
Meetings will be hosted on Mondays throughout the Lenten season at 7 pm in Robisch Hall at St. Mary Hyde Park. Due to the Eastside Family's hosting of acclaimed speker, Fr. Larry Richards, during the last week in February, our first gathering will be held on Monday, March 6th. Want to participate but can't make our weekly meetings? Pray and prepare alongside us by ordering a copy to be used on your own, and check our Lenten Resoures page for each week's video!
A note that registration will close on Wednesday, February 8th to ensure our books arrive on time. Copies will be distributed at Ash Wednesday Masses (and Sunday Mass on Feb. 19th if they have arrived).
