The Salve Regina K of C Council was founded in 2008 at St. Mary’s Hyde Park and now serves the whole Eastside parish family. Each year, our nearly 100 members put in dozens of volunteer hours assisting with parish festivals, fish frys, Christmas tree fundraising sale, and many other events; raising money for seminarians, pregnancy centers, and other charities; and host spiritual talks and other fraternal events that engage the men of the Eastside region. The Knights of Columbus, founded by a Blessed of the Church over 140 years ago, is the premier lay Catholic men’s organization with over 16,000 councils world-wide, providing tens of millions of dollars in charitable giving each year, and exclusive financial membership benefits for Catholic families.
