We ask that you have your infant baptized as soon as possible after birth. The Church defines an infant as one who has not yet reached the age of reason, usually under the age of 7. Please remember, you must be a registered parishioner at one of the parishes within the Eastside Family of Parishes to have your child baptized. If you do not belong to one of the parishes, we are open to baptizing your child with your pastor's permission. Here are the steps to having your child baptised:
Step 1: Call Our Sacramental Coordinator:
The very first step to having your child baptized is to call our Sacramental Coordinator to schedule the actual date for the baptism. In addition to scheduling the date, we will email you a Godparent Form that will need to be given to the Godparent(s) and filled out by them and their pastor. We will also email you an information form that the parents will need to fill out as soon as possible and return back to the Baptism Coordinator.
