Regional Director of Religious Education
Cody is a native of Columbus, Ohio and has worked in the parish setting for the last six years. He received a BA in Theology and Sacred Music from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a focus in systematic theology and gregorian chant. Cody is in the final stages of completing his MA is Sacred Theology from St. Joseph's College. Cody discovered a strong passion for sacred music and teaching during his time as a seminarian for the Diocese of Columbus. Since then, he has moved to Cincinnati and married the love of his life, Angela. In his spare time, Cody enjoys playing the pipe organ, singing in the parish choir, teaching private piano/voice/guitar lessons, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
Cody has a number of responsibilities here at the parish. His primary role as the Catechetical leader of Eastside Pastoral Region revolves heavily around the faith formation and religious education of the parishioners, staff, and faculty of region. This includes facilitating RCIA, PREP, EPIC, EDGE, offering a variety of Bible/Catechism studies for adults and children, planning and organizing parish faith activities such as the parish missions, and making sure he is available to our school teachers and catechists as a resource for religious education.
